Beyond the Resume: Your Story, My Mission.

You’ve raised the family. You’ve built a career. You’ve navigated the school system, the college applications, and the launching of your kids.

On paper, you’re incredibly successful in more ways than one.

But when the kids launch, the energy changes and the house is quiet, you're left with a different question: "Who am I now, and what's next for me?"

This isn't a crisis of competence. This is a profound identity shift, a pivotal moment that society rarely prepares us for. You feel less relevant in your children's lives, grapple with the quiet, and wonder if your best years are behind you.

I see you.

I understand. Because I’ve lived it, and I've guided countless others through it.

I Spent 30 Years Watching the "Long Game" Play Out.

For three decades (1991-2021), I worked inside some of America’s top K-12 independent schools.

From Admissions to Administration, I had a front-row seat to the modern parenting journey. I saw dedicated, loving parents sacrifice their own identities to curate their children's success. I watched them pour every ounce of energy into being the "Project Manager" of their child's life—perfecting the applications, managing the schedules, and smoothing the path.

And then, I saw what happened after graduation.

I saw the crash.

I saw parents who had been so focused on the "Launch" that they forgot to build a landing pad for themselves.

Once the goal was achieved and the house was empty, they weren't just sad—they were lost.

They had successfully worked themselves out of a job, but they hadn't prepared for their own promotion.

That’s why I became a Certified Personal & Executive Coach.

I realized that "success" isn't just about getting your kid into college. Real success is raising an independent adult while maintaining a vibrant, purposeful life of your own.

I took my background in systems and leadership and applied it to the family unit.

I don't just help you "cope" with the quiet. I help you re-architect the system so everyone thrives.

The friction you feel right now—whether it's in the middle of college applications, conflict with a boomerang child or just an internal sense of uselessness—isn't because you are doing something wrong.

It's because you are using the right tools for the wrong season of your parenting journey.

My coaching is anchored in a clear framework of parenting evolution. To thrive in this next chapter, we must intentionally shift your role:

Stage 1: The Sage on the Stage (Childhood)

  • You directed, protected, and taught. You were the center of their universe. This was essential then, but it is suffocating them now.

Stage 2: The Mentor in the Center (Adolescence)

  • You managed, fixed, and solved problems alongside them. You were the "Project Manager." Many parents get stuck here, fearful that if they stop managing, their child will fail.

Stage 3: The Guide on the Side (Adulthood)

  • This is the destination. You trade control for influence. You are no longer the "fixer," but the trusted consultant that your child desperately wants.

The Shift: From Manager to Mentor to Guide

My mission is to help you safely land in Stage 3.

When you become the Guide on the Side, two profound things happen:

  1. Your relationship with your children deepens because it is built on respect, not dependency.

  2. Your energy returns to you. All that mental bandwidth you used to spend managing their lives is now free to fuel your Second Act.

When I’m Not Coaching, You Can Find Me...

I believe in practicing what I preach.

My own "ME Era" isn't just a concept; it's how I live.

When I’m not helping parents architect their next chapter, I am usually busy enjoying mine.

  • Seeking Adventure: Whether it’s standing atop the summit of Kilimanjaro, walking the Camino de Santiago, or scuba diving in Honduras, I am constantly asking myself "What's Next?" in the most literal sense.

  • The "Both/And" Life: I am a proud father and a devoted partner. I’ve learned that you don't have to choose between loving your family deeply and loving your own life passionately. You can (and should) do both.

  • Embracing the Outdoors: I find my clearest thoughts on a hiking trail. Nature is where I recharge and reconnect.

I’m not a guru on a mountain.

I’m a fellow traveler on this path.

Just a few steps ahead with a map and a flashlight.

Ready to help you find your way.

You’ve Read My Story. Now Let’s Write Yours.

You don't have to navigate this transition alone.

And you certainly don't have to settle for "fine" or "quiet."

If you’re ready to shift from "Sage" to "Guide"...

If you’re ready to reclaim your identity and influence...

If you’re ready to stop waiting and start designing...

Let’s have a conversation.

I invite you to book a complimentary "Second Act Strategy Session."

This isn't a sales pitch. It's a strategy call where we will:

  1. Pinpoint exactly where you are stuck in the "Old Roles."

  2. Clarify the vision for your family and your future.

  3. Identify the first concrete step to get there.

Your Second Act is waiting. Let's turn the page together.
